updates

Yes this is just an update post because a lot of stuff has come in and the whatnot the last week-two weeks. As i made a quicky post all of you know i have a Hime cut now and i'm lovin it but my hairdresser didn't just comb it down and snip... somehow she had some hair pulled back so when my long hair isn't pulled back the shorter level look like its only 1-2 inches/ 2.5-5 cm... but when i pull back my long hair it looks a whole inch/2.5 cm wider... its kinda fun...

Oh well on to more important matters. I now have a second pair of zori, thease fit better then my silver pair, they are a bit widder so my feet don't hang off the sides. I'm still not sure how much myfeet are suposed to hang off the back but i feel a little better about this pair, its not like i try and jamm my whole foot into this pair or zori (i now know you are only suposed to slid it on about half way up your big toe or something... The zori are Tatami style, but they are not really tatami... they do have nice rubber soles though and so i won'tg be afraid to wear them out after a rain storm.

My newest Kimono, a cherry patterned Komon Came in the day before yesterday. it has a matching Haori which excites me. both are wool but i feel its not super heavy wool... i still won't wear it in summer outside... that would be suicide. I got a matching Tsuke obi to go with it but when it came i found it was an incompleat Tsuke obi... it had no ties or hook on the tare part... so i will finish it.

I got my juban drycleaned so i should beable to do a photo shoot soon.

Lastly: I found out that there is a vintage kimonoshop on the outskirts of houston, which for me is about a 2 hour drive but if i whent out there for a day trip then its not that big of a problem... i would like some company. I hope to go down some time in july and buy some kimono goodies! (its pretty inexpencive)

Well thats all for now, i should be having a kimono photoshoot tomorrow. Iwill post pics as soon as i get around to it. Bye bye!
